Senate Finance Committee Chairwoman Lorraine Berry said in a statement Monday that the committee hearing on the Fiscal Year 2001 budget scheduled for Tuesday has been canceled.
Berry said the hearing was canceled at the request of the Department of Education, whose budget appropriation was to be discussed.
