A Voice for St. John

Dear Source:
The first mention I see of Sen. James's meeting about St. John to be held on St. Thomas, Thursday, Nov. 16, was when I read your article of Nov. 16, that Sen. Barshinger requested Sen. James to change the public meeting location to be on St. John.. The last minute notice and the meeting on St. Thomas for something that pertains mainly to Coral Bay residents on the far side of St. John and in the 'country,' away from the ferry, feels like outright blatant manipulation and disrespect for St. John. Perhaps the new Senator-at-Large will take note and make it one of her goals to continue the great job Sen. Barshinger was doing about getting St. John more of a voice in its own affairs.
