Marine Park to Offer Free Tours

The Department of Planning and Natural Resources has scheduled the St. Croix East End Marine Parks' Interpretive Program for January to be led by Park Ranger John Farchette III. The public is invited to reserve a place in the free 2-hour tours by calling Park Tours at 773-3367.
There will be a snorkeling clinic held at 9 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 11, in Rod Bay, with participants meeting at Estate Great Pond. Explore the park's marine life, including juvenile queen conch and sea grass meadows. Beginners are welcome, and some snorkeling equipment will be available. Space is limited.
