FirstBank Donates Gift Cards for Children

Elizabeth Mueller and Hazel Lloyd of the Department of Human Services Foster Care Unit on St. Croix accept gift cards from FirstBank St. Croix Market Manager Daryl Brow.

FirstBank recently donated a supply of gift cards to two deserving organizations: the Boys & Girls Clubs and Department of Human Services’ Foster Care Unit. The 95 gift cards, valued at approximately $3600 total, were shared amongst the two groups and will be used to purchase Christmas Gifts for deserving children in the territory. The gift cards are like a prepaid credit card and can be used almost anywhere. Each group got 45 cards, and each card was valued at $40 at the time of distribution.

Over the last five years, FirstBank has contributed over $1.25 million dollars to local programs, events, projects and organizations that benefit the Virgin Islands communities.
