National award-winning photographer Steve Rockstein will share his vision and expertise in photography and photo shop with classes beginning Feb. 9 at the Seven Minus Seven Art Collective and Gallery. “The classes are open to everyone from beginner to pro,” said Rockstein, “the only requirements are love of photography and the desire to do it well.”
The National Association of News Photographers, The Society of News Designers and The International Center have all honored his work. He has published and exhibited worldwide. The Photography Workshop will meet from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesdays, beginning Feb. 9 and the Photo Shop class will meet from 7-9 p.m. on Thursdays, beginning Feb. 11. Both classes are 10-weeks long and cost $250 each, or $450 for both. Twenty-five percent of all workshop fees are donated to Seven Minus Seven, which is a non-profit corporation supporting artists in the community. They are located in Sub Base, opposite Inspection Lane.
