U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Jason Abrahim Retires After 24 Years

Sgt. 1st Class Jason Abrahim

Sergeant First Class Jason M. Abrahim, a native of St. Thomas, will retire from the United States Army on Sept. 1 after more than 24 years of service. He began his career in 1996 after graduating from Sts. Peter and Paul High School. Sgt. 1st Class Abrahim holds an Associate of Arts in Business Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Management (w/honors) from Wayland Baptist University.

He has served in numerous overseas locations including Germany (4x), Iraq (3x) and Haiti. His awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (6OLC), Joint Service Achievement Medal (1OLC) and the Army Achievement Medal (7OLC), Iraqi Campaign Medal (4CS), Overseas Service Ribbon (No. 6) and the coveted Air Assault Badge.

He is a graduate of the United States Army Medical Material Agency (USAMMA) Medical Logistics Management Internship Program.

Sgt. 1st Class Abrahim is the son of Ashraf and Theresa Abrahim of St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.
