In a wide-reaching and heartfelt conversation during their meeting, the two discussed the history behind the current crisis, the humanitarian efforts being made to help those affected, and the many major and historic supporters who have long stood by the Palestinian people in their struggle for justice and freedom.

Hussein highlighted the powerful role that artists and musicians have played around the world in raising awareness and speaking out against oppression. He noted that locally, Cruz Rock has been a leading voice, using his talent and platform to shine a light on the ongoing tragedy and to stand in solidarity with the people of Palestine.

“Music has always been a universal language of truth, resistance, and hope,” Hussein said. “Cruz Rock’s courage and compassion represent the very best of our Virgin Islands community, and we are proud to stand alongside him in support of justice and humanity.”

The Virgin Islands Palestinian Friendship Association commends Cruz Rock for his unwavering commitment to raising awareness, amplifying voices, and standing with the Palestinian people during these difficult times. His support reflects a growing global chorus demanding dignity, peace, and freedom for all.
