Cruise Ship Alerts

A parade/tramp is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m., departing from the WICO dock and traveling westbound along Edward Blyden Road onto the promenade. Participants will turn around near the police station and return to the WICO dock using the westbound lane.

The Rhapsody of the Seas cruise ship has cancelled its visit to Frederiksted, St. Croix Tuesday, Oct. 28, due to a change in the ship’s itinerary.

The Virgin Islands Port Authority is excited to announce the inaugural arrival of Royal Caribbean International’s newest and most innovative ship, the Star of the Seas. The vessel will berth at the Austin “Babe” Monsanto Marine Terminal in Crown Bay, St. Thomas, on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. and depart at 8 p.m.

Virgin Islands Port Authority Executive Director Carlton Dowe announced three additional cruise ship calls to the St. Thomas/St. John district.

The Nieuw Amsterdam cruise ship has canceled its call to St. Croix scheduled for Jan. 16.  The reason for the cancellation was not provided.
