Public Schools Won’t Reopen Until 2021

Education officials informed senators Thursday that public schools will not be reopening in the fall as planned, and will be entirely virtual for at least the first semester of the school year from September to December.

Winner of the 2020 Congressional Art Competition Announced

Haley Jennings, a student artist at Antilles School, won two top prizes in the 2020 Congressional Art Competition. The competition honors more than 400 students from every U.S. Congressional District.

Lawmakers and administration officials agreed that housing in the U.S. Virgin Islands is in crisis, while talking Tuesday during the Senate's Committee on Finance hearing on the the proposed fiscal year 2020 budget for the Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority.
