Project Brings V.I. Storytelling to Life Online

AARP in the Virgin Islands, in collaboration with the Virgin Islands Council on the Arts, has begun a series of virtual storytelling events, the “Our Voices: Storytelling Project.”

V.I. Agrifest Coming This Weekend with Theme: – ‘Agriculture: Trendy in 2020’

The 49th annual Agriculture and Food Fair is set for Saturday through Monday at the Rudolph Shulterbrandt Agricultural Complex in Estate Lower Love, St. Croix. This year’s theme is “Agriculture: Trendy in 2020.”

AARP President Opens STX Bike Path

The first section of the St. Croix Bike Path was formally opened Wednesday at the crest of the Christiansted Bypass by the AARP national president and others involved with the project.

AARP Honors Pair During Visit by National Officers

The AARP of the Virgin Islands presented its top award for volunteers Tuesday, bestowing the Andrus Awards to Scott Bradley and Alma Winkfield. The awards were presented at the recently reopened Ritz-Carlton on St. Thomas.

AARP Grant to Build Territory’s First Bike Path

Thanks to the annual AARP Community Challenge Grant and the V.I. Trail Alliance, St. Croix should see its first paved bike path by Nov. 1 – the first of its kind in the Virgin Islands.
