STJ CZM Committee OKs Lovango Cay Beach Club Permits

On Tuesday the St. John Committee of Coastal Zone Management unanimously approved two permits – with a number of conditions – to allow the Lovango Cay Beach Club and Resort to move forward with construction.

Lovango Cay Zoning, CZM Hearing Raises Issues About Resort Plans

During its first three weeks in business in February, Lovango Resort & Beach Club transported 2,336 passengers to dine at ZoZo’s H20, the only facility currently open at the fledgling island resort.

Owners Mark and Gwen Snider, and their son Matt, are now hard at work painting buildings and completing construction projects for a new development located on Lovango, a small island between St. Thomas and St. John.
