WAPA REDUCING WATER PRESSURE

Due to two water main leaks, the Water and Power Authority will be switching to a 10- inch standby water line until Saturday morning. The changeover will cause a substantial reduction in water pressure.
The results may be that residents at higher elevations who are on the potable water system will not receive water during the time that repairs are being made, according to a release from WAPA.
Customers at lower elevations will likely experience a significant reduction in water pressure.
The leaks, one by Adelita Cancryn Junior High School and the other in Subbase, should be repaired Saturday.
