FIVE NOMINATED FOR WAPA BOARD

Five people have been appointed to the V.I. Water and Power Authority's governing board by Gov. Charles Turnbull.
From St. Croix, former senator Carol Burke has been nominated to replace Harold Brown, and Alphonso Franklin and attorney G. Luz James have been appointed to fill vacancies
In the St. Thomas-St. John District, former senate president Claude "Tappy" Molloy will succeed George Parrot, and former St. John administrator William Lomax will replace Cecil George.
The appointments, which would last for three years, have been submitted to the 23rd Legislature.
