Celebrating the many years of dedicated service of employees who "have made a difference" to the St. Thomas-St. John communities, the Department of Health is honoring 13 retiring employees Thursday with a luncheon at Palms Court Harborview Hotel.
Acting Health Commissioner Mavis Matthew said, "It is with a great sense of appreciation that the Health Department recognizes these individuals . . . who have provided quality care to our clients."
Matthew said, "This is one way of saying thank you for the many years of service." Employees to be recognized are: Dr. Bruce Boody, Community Health Services; Priscilla Callwood, Health Insurance and Medical Assistance; Esmee Callwood, Mental Health Services; Morgan Daniel, Environmental Health; Charles Dorsett, Maintenance; Dr. Cresencia Yap Dy, Community Health Services; Reginald Francis, Environmental Health; Prudencia Guishard, Health Insurance and Medical Assistance; Louceta Hodge, MCH and CC Services; Maude Hoheb, Vital Statistics; Dr. Richard Lloyd, Dental Health Services; Dr. Ronald Patrick, East End Health Center; and Doris Smalls, Financial Services.
