CHAMBER PROFESSIONAL LEADERSHIP SEMINAR

April 27, 2001 — The St. Thomas-St. John Chamber of Commerce is offering the first in a series of professional enhancement seminars Friday, May 11, at the University of the Virgin Islands Sports and Fitness Conference Center.
Dr. Tom Tyne and Russell Grieger, clinical psychologist, will conduct the half-day workshop on "The role of Emotional Muscle in Extraordinary Leadership," which will run from 8:45 to 11:45 a.m. Through the use of case studies, they will focus on how to avoid the seven deadly emotional sins that can cripple one's ability to perform to his or her potential.
Dr. Tyne, a St. Thomas resident, is a psychiatrist and travel writer. Russell Grieger, who divides his time between Charlottesville, Virginia and St. Thomas, is also an organizational consultant to business, industry and schools.
The seminar is $25 for Chamber members, and $30 for nonmembers. A continental breakfast and brown bag lunch are included.
Dates for future seminars have not yet been announced. Call the Chamber at 776-0100 for further information.
