FAWN E. DOHM DEAD AT 40

July 14, 2001 – Capt. Fawn E. Dohm, well-known for her natural seamanship ability, died Thursday of a brain aneurysm. She was 40-years old.
Fawn was the adored daughter of Per Dohm and Carol Dohm and the beloved step-daughter of Lynn Dohm.
With her combined organizational abilities and her love and knowledge of the sea, Fawn was an integral part of Dohm's Water Taxi service on St. Thomas's East End.
Fawn was born on St. Thomas in 1960, and after an absence of several years, returned two years ago to help with the family business.
She is survived by her father, Per Dohm, mother, Carol Dohm, step mother, Lynn Dohm, and brothers Capt. Gui Dohm and Erik Dohm. She is also survived by her cousins Hans and Maria Dohm, Peter and Taylor Dohm, David and Donna Dohm, Erik Dohm and Glen and Carmen Durant.
Fawn was a great animal lover and is survived by her four feline friends.
A viewing will be held at Creque's Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.Wednesday, July 18. A memorial service will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 22 at the St. Thomas Yacht Club.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Humane Society of St. Thomas.
