Nov. 7, 2001 – A free shuttle service to and from Brewers Bay Beach for the Carnival Fun Day and Beach Jam will be in operation Monday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., and after the beach event, which is scheduled to run until 6 p.m.
Marked safari buses will run from the Griffith Park lot to the beach, and will pick up along the route as well, according to a release from the V.I. Carnival Committee. Beachgoers can catch the shuttle into town during the day.
The release reminded beachgoers to adhere to the day's traffic rules. Barricades will be in place to block off traffic.
There will be no parking on the beach. There will be no through traffic, and the Police Dept. asked residents headed in or out of Estate Hope and westward to use the alternate Estate Pearl-Crown Mountain route.
