Jan. 18, 2002 – Applications for the 2002 Junior Monarch Competition, Toddlers Derby, and Best Dressed Doll competition are available at Daniels Variety Store and the V.I. Carnival Committee office.
Deadlines for the three events respectively are Jan. 19, March 2, and March 9.
There will be an orientation meeting for all Junior Monarch competitors at 11 a.m. Jan. 26 at the Winston Raymo Recreation Center, said a release from the committee. Practice for the competition begins at 12 p.m. Feb. 2 at Winston Raymo.
