United Way’s annual giant Flea Market and Bazaar will be held at the Emancipation Garden, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
United Way board members, along with representatives of United Way’s 17 member agencies, will be selling previously-owned clothing, jewelry, furniture and household goods; food and drinks; and plants. On hand to entertain children will be a balloon modelist, and face-painting, games and music will be provided.
United Way raffle drawings will also take place at the Flea Market, and lucky winners of a Royal Caribbean 7-night Caribbean cruise, 2-night vacations at several local resorts, and other prizes will be chosen and announced. Drawings will be about once an hour, and you don't have to be present to win.
Raffle tickets are $5 each, and can be purchased from any United Way board member, at the United Way office, or in front of the Emancipation Garden Post Office on Saturday, Jan. 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
