ST. PETER MOUNTAIN ROAD TO CLOSE FOR PAVING

Nov. 27, 2002 – Beginning Monday St. Peter Mountain Road, route 40, between the intersection known as Crossroads or Four Corners on the west and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on the east, will be closed to traffic between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. while the road is being re-paved.
The road work is expected to take about three weeks to complete.
In the meantime detours will be set up at four corners and at Sibilly School, according to a release from the Public Works Department. During work hours access will be provide to residents of the area and emergency vehicles only. Public Works commissioner Wayne Callwood said there will be flag people and detour signs to assist motorists.
