GARBAGE COLLECTION DAYS TO CHANGE APRIL 1

March 27, 2003 – The garbage collection days for Christiansted and Frederiksted will change effective April 1, according to a release from Government House. On some streets, collection will drop from six to three days per week.
The following streets will not be affected: Watergut, Strand Street, Company Street and King Street in Christiansted; and Queen Street, Fisher Street, King Street and Strand Street in Frederiksted.
All other streets in the two towns will have garbage collection reduced to Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
