May 24, 2003 – John Etienne, 62, better known as "Uncle Go", died Friday, May 2, at Roy L. Schneider Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, at the St. Thomas Assembly of God Church, preceded by a viewing from 9-10:30 a.m.
Etienne is survived by his wife, Victoria Etienne; children, Mathias, Anthony and Agnes Etienne and Brenda Elie; brother, Joseph (of St. Thomas), Joseph (of England), Pierre and Johnny; sisters Rosetta (of Dominica), Felicia and Theresa (of England), and Martina; four grandchildren; and other relatives and friends too numerous to name.
