DRIVER ARRESTED AT CLINIC AFTER ACCIDENT

July 12, 2003 – The driver of a pick-up truck carrying construction workers was arrested Friday after the vehicle he was driving flipped on St. John's Centerline Road.
The accident took place after 7 a.m. in Estate Pastory. Injuries resulting from the accident sent four people for treatment to Myrah Keating Smith Clinic, and two of the victims were later transported to the Roy Lester Schneider Hospital on St. Thomas, according to a nurse at the clinic.
Deputy Police Chief Angelo Hill of Leander Jurgens Command in Cruz Bay said the driver was arrested when investigators found a number of alleged violations.
Officer Bridgette Conow said Dennis Boone, 43, was arrested as a result of the accident. He was charged with having no driver's license, no insurance, an unregistered vehicle and failure to change ownership of a vehicle, Conow said.
Boone was among those taken for medical treatment. Police say he was arrested at the clinic.
