July 11, 2003 – Teaching jobs are available in both districts for the coming school year, according to the Education Department's personnel and labor relations director, Alscess Lewis Brown. There are positions in a variety of areas, Brown said, and applicants are encouraged to call or drop by the personnel offices to learn more.
There are openings for special education, math, science, bilingual language and foreign language teachers and also for health educators, school nurses and a director of special education.
Applicants can contact Brown at 774-0100, ext. 3051, in the St. Thomas-St. John district and at 773-1095 on St. Croix.
