WORK SCHEDULED ON BOVONI ROAD SEPT. 2-14

Sept. 1, 2003 – From Tuesday through Sept. 14, Public Works crews will be undertaking a project to improve the drainage system on the Bovoni Road, also known as Route 30, near the landfill.
Public Works Commissioner Wayne Callwood said in a release that the crews will be working between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. He urged motorists "to use alternate routes to enable the department to expedite the completion of this project on the scheduled date."
Once the work is done, Callwood said, "the public will experience an improvement in the drainage system in the Bovoni area as well as a smooth wearing road surface."
