ST. CROIX DEMOCRATS TO ROAST, TOAST IN 2004

Dec. 1, 2003 – The St. Croix District of the Democratic Party has postponed the party's 40th anniversary to Feb. 21, 2004, at Divi Carina Bay. The dinner, originally set for Dec. 6, will recognize five distinguished public servant-leaders.
The honorees — Gov. Charles Turnbull, Delegate to Congress Donna M. Christensen, former lieutenant governor and National Committeeman Derek M. Hodge, former Sen. Frits Lawaetz and St. Croix District Chair Terrence t. Thomas — will be roasted and toasted at the awards dinner.
The keynote speaker is former Senate president Elmo D. Roebuck. The program begins at 6 p.m. and tickets are $60 per person. For tickets call 713-1523, 778-6246 or any committee member.
