NEW NOMINEE FOR ST. JOHN SEAT ON WAPA BOARD

Dec. 29, 2003 – Gov. Charles W. Turnbull announced on Monday that he has nominated Cheryl Boynes-Jackson of St. John to the Water and Power Authority governing board, to replace William Lomax of St. John, whose term has expired.
Boynes-Jackson has been a boat captain and president and general manager of Boyson Inc. for more than 20 years. The governor said she will be a resourceful asset to the WAPA board. The term is for three years and requires approval by the Legislature.
