Make Changes in Insurance Benefits by Sept. 17

Aug. 24, 2004 – The government's group insurance program annual enrollment period is in effect and will continue through Sept. 17, according to a Government House release issued on Tuesday. It is during this period each year that program participants may change their benefit selections.
Government employees wanting to making changes "should contact their respective personnel officers," Rolda Mason, group insurance chief, said in the release. "No action is necessary to continue their current benefit selections."
Retirees covered by the program who want to make changes should call or stop by the health insurance office in their district. The telephone numbers are 714-5000 on St. Thomas and 773-0431 on St. Croix. The St. Thomas-St. John office is located on the third floor of the GERS Building; the St. Croix office is in the Orange Grove Shopping Center.
