Sept. 3, 2004 – Parents and guardians of children attending the E. Benjamin Oliver Elementary School can attend a special open house on Tuesday, Sept. 7, at 5:30 p.m. at the school.
Felix Durand, principal, urges all parents to make a special effort to attend this event and to establish a strong working relationship with their child's teacher.
Durand also invites parents and guardians to attend the school's first PTA meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 14, at 5:45 p.m.
Parents are reminded that for the remainder of the school year, PTA meetings at the school will be held on the second Tuesday of each month. During these monthly meetings parents will have the opportunity to work with teachers and school administrators to ensure that their children have a safe, orderly environment in which to learn,
