Jan. 7, 2006 – The Muslim Community of Masjid Nur Ahl Us Sunnah Islamic Center Inc. in cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank of Jeddah Saudi Arabia (I.D.B.) announced an interest free loan scholarship program for Muslim students of the United States Virgin Islands, beginning with the 2006-2007 school year.
I.D.B. is giving scholarships for Muslim students for study in a recognized university or college in the fields of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, engineering, agriculture, fisheries, forestry, food technology, computer sciences and communications. Individuals and organizations interested in partnering with us to offer scholarships to non-Muslim students are invited to contact the center.
