Feb. 13, 2006 – – Delegate to Congress Donna M. Christensen today mourned the passing of long time Democratic Party stalwart Patrick Williams. "I would like to extend my deepest condolences to his wife Inez and the Williams children and grandchildren on the passing of your beloved husband and father," Christensen said Monday.
"Your father meant much to the people of St. Croix and the Virgin Islands as a whole, as he was there as a community activist, legislator, commissioner, chairman and member of the Board of Education and friend and mentor to generations of Virgin Islanders."
"He has served his entire community with distinction," said Christensen, "but we will most remember his loyalty to his family and his neighborhood of Grove Place, St. Croix. His was a life well lived," she continued, "and we are a better community for all of his contributions."
