Baha'i Community Activities for March

Devotional Gatherings
March 10, 2006 – Devotional gatherings to say prayers and read from the Writings of many Faiths are held weekly on St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix. All are warmly invited to attend and participate.
On St. Thomas, devotional gatherings take place at 10 a.m. every Sunday at Magens Bay Beach. On the last Sunday of the month the devotions will be followed by a potluck brunch. Please call 776-7024 or 643-5059 for additional information.
On St. John, race unity devotional gatherings are held every Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. Please call 776-6316 or 776-6254 for information and directions.
On St. Croix, devotional gatherings are held every Sunday at 9:30 a.m., at the home of Douglas Covey. For additional information please call 773-2376.

Children's Class
Children's classes, which focus on assisting children to develop spiritual qualities and virtues through stories, memorization, music, skits and crafts, are held every Sunday from 10 a.m. until noon at Mafalie's Day Care on St. Thomas. All children ages 6 and older are welcome to attend. For additional information, call Murielle Braure at 690-0093 or stop by the class on Sunday.

Study Group
Anyone who is interested in studying the sacred writings of the Bahá'í Faith on such topics as the purpose of life, realizing one's potential, prayer, and life after death is welcome to join a Bahá'í study group. Call Judi Bryant at 643-5059 for additional information.

New Year's Party
The Bahá'í Community will welcome in the New Year 163 of the Bahá'í Era at 6:30 p.m., on Monday, March 20, with a potluck dinner at the home of Helga Blazkova-Berger. Everyone is welcome. Please call 776-7024 for further information and directions.
