News Brief: John C. George Nominated to Bureau of Information Technology

March 21, 2006 — According to a press release issued Tuesday, Gov. Charles W. Turnbull has nominated John C. George to be director of the Bureau of Information Technology.
In a letter to Senate President Lorraine Berry, Turnbull explained that George is an information technology consultant with WTJX-Channel 12 and is qualified by education and experience.
The nomination must be approved by the Senate.
