Jarvis Elementary Has Calypso Show for Carnival

April 8, 2006 – Five aspiring Junior Calypsonians will make their debut at the J. Antonio Jarvis Elementary School's 12th Annual In-School Junior Calypso Show at 9 a.m., on Thursday, April 20, at the school's main campus.
A special feature of this year's program is the recognition of Joe Ramsay, veteran saxophonist and founder of Joe Ramsay and the All Stars. He is being honored for his contributions to the community through his love of calypso music and the students he has mentored.
Featured performers are Calypso Monarchs Louis Ible and "Whadablee" (St. Clair DeSilvia).
The public is welcomed to attend. For more information, contact Alfred Lockhart Jr. at 774-0036.
