May 27, 2006–The St. Thomas-St. John Golf Association, in conjunction with Mahogany Run Golf Course, will host the 2006 Hugh Smith Open Golf Tournament at Mahogany Run on June 3 – 4.
The tournament is open to the first 75 paid golfers with valid handicaps. The tournament fee is $125 and covers 36 holes of golf, a cocktail party and an awards banquet.
There will be men's A and B flights, a women's C flight, as well as a combined men's and women's Stableford flight for handicaps over 23. The tournament starts at 8:30 a.m. each day.
