July 12, 2006 – Shakir Alexander, better known as "Shakil," of Estate Tutu, died at the age of 28.
He is survived by his mother, Nordelita Charles-Alexander; father, Phillip Alexander; adopted mother, Gretta Maynard; grandfather, Reynold Charles; step grandmother, Veeda Charles; brothers: Shakim, Shakif, Jakeem and Shaki Alexander; and sisters: Shakira Alexander-Mactavious, Shakita Alexander-Lewis, Shakila, Shakima, Shakifa, Shakia, Shakyra, Shakyla and Nicolette Alexander. He is also survived by special friends: Hughroy Thomas, Jarmel, Irvin Clendinen, Franky Omaro, Macky Applinton, Laverne Francis, Allison Hull, Diane Kuntz, Crisinel Charles, John; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., on Friday, July 14, at Shiloh Seventh-day Adventist Church, followed at 10 a.m. by a funeral at the church. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 1.
