What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

July 25, 2006 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Snow on WVGN 107.3 FM from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, July 30. This Sunday we will feature the Temptations, Jen Cass, Albert Lee, Roseann Cash, and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "Reflections" by the Temptations. Otis Williams is the only surviving original member of the group who continues to perform their old hits as well as new material. On this new release, the Temptations do their versions of Motown songs which were hits by other artists, including songs originally recorded by the Supremes, Miracles, Marvin Gaye and others.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "Accidental Pilgrimage" by contemporary folk artist Jen Cass. Cass has an interesting background. She has a law degree and was a former criminal prosecutor who is now a full-time musical artist.
We celebrate the birthdays of blues great Buddy Guy and English vocalist Kate Bush. We also pay tribute to Sun Records founder Sam Phillips on the anniversary of his death. ,
We include new music from Albert Lee, Alecia Nugent, Ray Wylie Hubbard and more.
We also play music from Los Lobos, Joe Louis Walker, Roseann Cash, the Beatles, Richie Havens, Roy Orbison and more.
