There's Nothing Like a Good Cup of Coffee

Dear Source:
It has been disheartening to find out about the closing of the only Coffee Factory in the Virgin Island, under the hospice of EDC. The death of one of the principal owners, Lou Coyne, might have been one of the reasons. Started in the 1990`s, King`s Caribbean Coffee was a beacon on this Island. It is indeed a sad loss of another business closing its doors, not because of the economy but lack of management and desire to keep it open. It was overnight that their doors were closed, without any notice. Still, you can see Kings Coffees displayed throughout the Island in various hotels and stores.
I sincerely hope someone will be interested in pursuing the coffee enterprise; we all enjoy that first cup of coffee early in the morning. There is a need for another Coffee Factory in the Island of St.Croix.
