Oct. 30, 2006 Both Gov. Charles W. Turnbull and Lt. Gov. Vargrave Richards are off island, leaving Finance Commissioner Bernice Turnbull in the top spot acting governor.
The governor is in St. Johns, Antigua, attending the Silver Anniversary of Antigua and Barbuda independence.
Richards left last Friday for a Geographical Information System (GIS) conference in the Bahamas, a news release sent Monday said. They are both due to return Friday.
Senate President Lorraine L. Berry is acting lieutenant governor.
