Candidates Must Remove Political Signs Soon

Nov. 27, 2006 All political candidates must remove their political devices and signs by Friday, Dec. 1, with the exception of the political candidates who participated in the Run-off Election. Candidates in the Run-off Election must remove their signs by Tuesday, Dec. 5.
"Effective on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006, the department will begin the issuance of citations to those candidates who fail to remove political advertising devices," according to a press release from Commissioner George W. Phillips of the Office of Public Works.
