Chamber of Commerce to Hold Annual Meeting and Luncheon

Jan. 9, 2007 – The St. Croix Chamber of Commerce will hold its 2007 annual business meeting and luncheon at noon, on Thursday, Jan. 11, at Elizabeth's Restaurant at The Palms at Pelican Cove.
Over 100 Chamber members are expected and will have the opportunity to select a new Chamber president/chairman for 2007 to succeed the current president, Diane Butler. The Nominating Committee of the Board of Directors has nominated Omer ErSelcuk, the current Chamber vice president, to become the next president. He is president and CEO of Seaborne Airlnes.
The meeting will also feature the introduction and installation of six newly elected members to the 18-member board of directors and a vote to ratify proposed new Chamber bylaws.
John Harper, president of Marshall & Sterling Insurance, will be the guest speaker. The cost for the luncheon is $20 for members and $25 for non-members.
