Feb. 3, 2007 – Adrien Francis, native St. Thomian, and Kerryn Duran, native Coloradan, were married Jan. 22, at Sandals Grande Ocho Rios Resort on the island of Jamaica, where the happy couple also enjoyed their honeymoon.
Francis is the son of the late Joseph Adrien Francis. He attended Sts. Peter and Paul Grammar School and Charlotte Amalie High School. He now is employed as a head coach at a defensive driving institute in Colorado. His brother, Joseph Francis, still lives on island with his wife, Jennifer, and two children, Jennings and Natalie.
Duran is the daughter of Roberta Duran and the late Arthur Duran. She graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1988 with a bachelor's degree in history and journalism and now works at the Colorado Legislative Council in the State Capitol Building. She lived on St. Thomas for several years, where she met Adrien before they both moved to Colorado in 1999. The couple currently resides in Westminster, Colorado.
