St. Croix Summer School to Begin

June 14, 2007 – The Learn-It, Link-It Summer Program, sponsored by the V.I. Department of Education's St. Croix District, will run from Monday, June 25 to Tuesday, Aug. 7, according to St. Croix Acting Superintendent Jewel Ross-Brathwaite. Classes will be held Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to noon each day and will include lunch.
The summer school program is free of charge and will be conducted at the following sites:
Pearl B. Larsen Elementary School for students attending the Pearl B. Larsen, Lew Muckle and Ricardo Richards elementary schools, or the Elena L. Christian Junior High School
Evelyn Williams Elementary School for students attending the Evelyn Williams, Alfredo Andrews and Charles H. Emanuel elementary schools, or the John H. Woodson Junior High School
Claude O. Markoe Elementary School for students attending the Claude O. Markoe and Alexander Henderson elementary schools, or the Arthur A. Richards Junior High School.
Parents are advised that transportation services will not be provided to and from summer school sites. Therefore, parents are urged to ensure their children's prompt attendance at classes.
