Insulaires français heureux de Vierge de semaine d'héritage! (Happy French Heritage week Virgin Islanders!)
The people of French descent have reason to be very proud, this week and every week. We are in every sector of our community and are generous and good natured people. From all levels of the private sector and public sector we have made our voices heard here in the Caribbean and the Virgin Islands.
I commend the Governor John de Jongh for hosting the annual event this week and wish the legislature would have made the same contribution. Regardless of the attitudes of some of our leaders we continue to make our contributions to the Virgin Islands and to the rest of the world.
