Dear Source:
Having just read the letter from Hovensa touting it's contributions to the territory and the cost comparisons of pet coke and coal to oil, and just having seen the price of oil plummet, I believe it is past time for us to move to pet coke, solar, wind, and whatever else we can use to save money and save the planet. We must not let the plummeting price of oil lull us into complacency. We are decades behind other countries in the use of alternative energy. We simply can't afford to wait any longer. Any person running for the legislature who will actually put forth a bill to get us off oil and get us off it fast has my vote.
