Carmen Silva Dies at 63

Oct. 29, 2008 – Carmen Silva, also known as "Nolin" or "Carmencita," of Mon Bijou, died on Oct. 26, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 63 years old.
She is survived by her spouse, Carmelo Silva; daughters; Nancy Silva-Sendar, Luz and Zuzette Silva; sons: Hector, Jose A. and Jose C. Silva; grandchildren: Javier and Xiomara J. Silva, Denise Ramos, Tatiana Smith, Neisha and Kiara Sendar, Jordanee, Jordalie, Janniel and Janmuel Silva, Jomari and Jayden Jacobs, and Jahzion Silva. She is also survived by sisters: Maria Encarnacion, Paulina Santos, Juanita E. Camacho, Marcelina Lamar, Petra Encarnacion and Maria Joseph; brothers: Carlos and Cirilo Encarnacion; aunts: Catalina Ruiz and Carmen Felix; uncle, Basilio Felix; special friends: Gladys Sylvester, Velda Alexander, Olive Alexander, closed cousins: Gladys Perez, Ilma Garcia, Providencia Torres and Anita Morales; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., on Thursday, Oct. 30, at St. Ann's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
