Innovative Crews Restore Service to More Areas Affected by Hurricane Omar

Nov. 17, 2008 – In an effort to put updated information within closer reach of its customers, Innovative has set up a customer information line that can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The number to call is 713-2121. The line will go live for the first time at 5 p.m., Monday, Nov. 17. It will continue to be updated as new areas are added to the restored list.
Following is the list of areas that crews will be working to restore telephone and cable TV services from Monday, Nov. 17 through Sunday, Nov. 23:
· In the East End area: Bugby Hole, Corn Hill, Granard, Grange Gardens, Hermon Hill, Longford, Lowry Hill, Mt. Welcome, Marienhoj, Old Hospital Street, Orange Grove, R. DeChabert Project, St. C. Condos, Sallys Fancy, Tide Village, Tulipan Welcome, and Western Suburb.
· In the Mid-Island Area: Aureo Diaz Heights, Belvedere, Betsy Jewel, Bonne Esperance, Canaan, Coble, Frangipani, Friedensberg, Friedensberg Project, Glynn, Jealousy, Kingshill, La Vallee, River, Saman Villas, Sweetlime, Upper Bethlehem, and V.I. Corp Land.
· In the West End Area: Brooks Hill, Butlers Bay, Cane Brake Apartments, Cane Carlton, Cane Estate, Croixville Apartments, Diamond, Enfield Green, Fredrikshaab, Good Hope, Hannahs Rest, Hogensberg, Jolly Hill, Lagoon Street Project, Lorraine Village, Mt. Pleasant, Marley Project, Mars Hill, Mutual Homes, Northside, Paradise, Paradise Mills, Plessen, Prospect Hill, Prosperity, Queen Street, St. Georges, Smithfield, Sprat Hall, Stony Ground, Sunset Beach Cottage, Two Brothers, Two Friends, Wheel of Fortune, White Lady, Williams, and the Walter I.M. Hodge Housing Community.
Innovative is once again reminding customers that once the company declares an area restored for telephone services, the majority of customers in that area will have their services restored. However, there may be pockets of areas that may experience service disruptions due to defective service wires between the poles to customers' homes. Also, engineers have said that when they declare an area's cable television services are restored, they are essentially saying the signal in the area has been activated. Some households will continue to experience service interruptions and will need to call the Innovative Repair Service Center to file a report.
For repairs, telephone and cable television customers can call 912 or 778-1742. Customers with Internet access may submit their reports to the following e-mail address: svcupdt1@iccvi.com. In the e-mail, customers should include their telephone or Cable TV account number, address, the problem they are experiencing, a contact number and brief directions. PowerNet DSL internet customers whose telephone service is restored and continue to experience problems may call 714-3700 to make a report.
