Jean Edwards of Anna’s Retreat died on Saturday, May 1, at her residence. She was 95 years old.
She is survived by sons: Herbert Parker and Joseph Benjamin, aka Henry; grandchildren Earl and Robert Parker, David and Dawn Benjamin; daughters-in-law: Eurita Parker aka Rita and Genvieve Benjamin aka Gen; sister, Charlotte Gilbert; nieces and nephews: Sheila James, Salvin Southwell and Hazel Braithwaite; and close friend, Patricia Francis; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A first viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel.There will be a second viewing held at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 14, followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. at St. Paul’s Baptist Church. Interment will be held at Eastern Cemetery.
