V.I. Answer Desk: Watching "Gangs In Paradise" Online

Source reader and ex-Virgin Islander Gene Roberts asks if he can view the recent "Gangs in Paradise" documentary online.
You’re in luck Gene, the film on V.I. gang violence can be viewed online at the Lambert Media YouTube channel.
The film, which first aired Aug. 3 on six V.I. TV and cable stations, is also being rebroadcast at noon, 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. through this Friday on the government access cable channels: Innovative Cable-TV Channel 10 on St. Thomas–St. John and Innovative Cable Channel 6 on St. Croix.
The film, which has generated a lot of discussion across the territory, is the product of a partnership between Project Safe Neighborhoods and Lambert Media Group, with funds for the project coming largely from Project Safe Neighborhoods grants.
Project Safe Neighborhoods approached the film’s executive producer, Lou Lambert, in early 2009 with the idea.
Financed on a shoestring budget of around $40,000, the documentary took over a year to produce.
