Victor R. Murray of Estate Longford died on Sept. 16, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 87 years old.
He is survived by his spouse, Maria Belen Murray; daughters: Edna Murray Creighton and Omayra Murray; sons: Cruz Santana, Jose Escobar and Victor Murray Jr.; grandchildren: Patricia Gomes, Veronica Herbert, Velmarie Creighton, Maria Powell, Lila Rojas, Tatiana Torres, Grisel and Annisa Murray, Aymee, Shemara and Jessica Santana, Webbie, Melanie and Melina Escobar, Deon and Samuel Dabrio, Clint Murray, Chaleston and Dave Creighton, Jeffrey Dowby, Robert Powell Jr., John, Leslie Jr. and Alberto Murray, Victor III, Shawaki, Julian, Isaiah and Raheem Murray, Cruz Santana Jr. and Victor Escobar. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren; sisters: Clarita Fenelon and Iris Canton; brothers: Lauritz, Ira and Hubert Acoy; special friends: Allan Vanterpool, Dalton Sebastian and Vincent Horsford; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 24, at Friedensfeld Moravian Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
